Travancore Medical College, Kollam is a Minority Educational Institution as declared by the National Commission of Minority Educational Institutions, New Delhi vide its Certificate dated 11/03/2014. It is established by ‘Quilon Medical Trust’, Kollam (Registration No.221/2003) in the academic year 2009-2010. The College offers MBBS Courses and Post Graduate Medical MD/MS Courses, Recognized by the National Medical Commission and affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences. The teaching hospital attached to the College is the ‘Travancore Medical College Hospital’ which is a well-known tertiary care hospital in Kerala State situated at ‘Travancore Medicity’ adjacent to Kollam City, the Cashew Capital of the World.
